Jan Lightner: 636-734-5963: Jan has been practicing Hatha Yoga for over 20 years. In November of 1980, she received her certification at the Integral Yoga Institute in New York City. She studied under Swami Satchidananda. She furthered her yoga education by completing a 200 hour yoga teacher training program at Janes House of Wellbeing in St. Charles, Missouri. Jan also has extensive training in Gentle Yoga, Therapeutic and Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Muscular Sclerosis and Yogic Breath (Pranayama).
Jan's classes radiates from teh heart, they are warm, compassionate and welcoming for all levels of yoga practitioners. Her gentle therapeutic approach to yoga makes her classes safe as she gently adjust you into the correct alignment for poses. Enjoy her guided meditation to rest your mind, body and spirit. Jan is also a certified Reiki practitioner. She holds the philosophy that feeling great goes along with a healthy diet. In 2006 she earned the Living on Live Food certification taught by Alissa Cohen. Today she is a living testimony that the benefits of whole and raw food preparation and yoga lessens her arthritic pain and has helped regain her flexibility.
Charly Felling: 314-629-3846 Charly is an RN, MFA, RYT 200, CPYT. With nearly thirty years of nursing experience, a master’s degree and many years of teaching a myriad of subjects to a very diversified array of people She has never felt happier than when she is sharing her yoga practice with others. Charly believes that yoga is a personal practice best shared and has pursued teaching yoga therapeutically, meditatively, prenatally (also certified) and more recently to children. Sharing yoga with anyone anywhere, Hot, Power, Vinyasa, yoga is a joy in her life. It has helped her to clear out the rubbish physically, mentally and spiritually. Her body, mind and faith seem to grow stronger the more she open herself to the practice of yoga as well as the diverse community of practitioners she has encountered as she has traveled along this yogic path. Charly has come to understand yoga as a complete and fulfilling life practice that uniquely lends itself to the individual. Charly believes that yoga accepts each individual exactly where you are and will steadfastly take you as far as you are willing to go in every aspect of that which comprises the whole of anyone willing to breathe.
Ken Rodriguez: 314-575-1212: Ken has been in the health field for over 20 years. He holds licenses, degrees and certifications in several areas of wellbeing, including: Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy, Qi Gong, Personal Training, Kettlebells as well as completing the 200 hour course in becoming a yoga instructor under Yoga Guru Michale Perry RYT 500. Although Ken enjoys helping others he saw the bigger picture in creating a place where quality instructors can come together and share their passion and knowledge to the community at large. A place where both teacher and student can grow. Ken is currently completing his Masters in Business Adminstration which will help further his vision he has for both of his locations in St. Peters and in Clayton. Ken also continues to study in the path of Qi Gong through Zen Wellness, under the guidance of Master Michale Leone as well as Qi Revolution under the Guidance of Senior Instructor Jeff Primack. Ken enjoys the energy work that he does during his massage sessions as well as in his own personal Qi Gong practice. Ken plans on developing some Qi Gong classes in the near future but for now he is focusing on his team and assisting them to further their personal goals in helping others.
